Fifa 10 Ultimate Team is a simply brilliant game,and if you are good at playing it or good at trading players within the game then it gets even better, as you compete with people from across the world with your own squad of carefully picked players that you have spent an age online trading for and spending your hard earned coins on.What is a bit of a mystery for lots of new people is the trading market,now i have done some other hubs on how to trade players or how i earned a lot of coins but what i haven't yet done is a guide to what you should be paying for these players,i spend on average 2-3 hours a day on the market so have a good knowledge of the price trends,well firstly there is a lot of players that people enjoy trading with and i cant possibly mention them all, so i am going to do a guide for the top of the food chain players,the world class players, that when you get them in a pack or spend coins on them you get proper excited.The guide is hard to do because of the fluctuating prices in the market but i will give a lower and upper price and if you see one higher than the price i mentioned don't trade as you will not make a profit.Secondly this guide is for xbox users,PlayStation guys can have a look but i have found that the prices to differ between formats.

Best time to buy is early in the morning and late at night as there not many people on try to sell during peak times 4pm - 10pm

@warchild Ill try that when i get home, if all else fails ill just get ibrahimovic shouldn't effect my chemistry to much as he plays in spain, i just like having a player in a forward position who can hold up the ball

nice tips warlord but to all fifa players i would very strongly advice to go for michael balack ive bought about 5 of him and im now up to 40 000 u can usually get him for under 7000 and the always put him up starting price 7500 bin 8000 doing this hes never failed to sell at bin price so u get gauranted a 1000 profit everytime.
@XBOX If u wanna make some doller u wanna buy 41212 cards cus the formy is rare also the high profile players that have this will go for a lot more. try buying arshavin,ashley young,ronaldiniho, hulk, easy money to be made

@george u dont use them u just keep them and they will add a bonus to your contracts or injury cards when u use them.

@golfa180 the best players are hard to find at the moment,have a look on the market and search for players u know well,see who is selling lots of and then try and buy them on the cheap!

From my previous squad I picked up a CF Del Piero and converted him to Striker, replaced him with Adebayor. I also have replaced Van Der Sar with an 89 Neuer. Do you have any suggestions to replace Tevez? Preferably in the 10-20,000 range.

@TOM7888 just focus on one certain player and then narrow down the search by entering position and nationality then when you are left with just that player set your self to watch say 15 or 20 of that player and come back in a few hours and see which ones sold and for how much etc

I am absolutely gutted, i was watching a rooney the other night when i only had a few thousand coins and it was at 1000 with about half an hour left and i presumed it would shoot up massively at the end beyond what i could afford at the time. When i looked at the end it went for 1,500 coins i physically couldnt believe it. I just wish i had been watching at the crucial moment and who knows i could have got the cheapest rooney ever i would imagine!!!!
you know how on the last Ultimate Team 09 you could collect cards and add them to your book, and every time you collected all players for that team you got bonus coins, does this happen in Ultimate team 10?
@roylflush no and its a bad mistake by ea as they need to be able to reward you for not just the games played but for the players collected,and you should get acheivements for filling a page as well.It makes you want to collect players instead of just discarding them like i do
@warchild75 Ah thats a big shame, really enjoyed collecting all the cards and wasa great way of getting coins to build the squad you wanted. that means no1 will really be buying any bronze or not popular cards.

Good guide, but i have to say lok carefully as i managed to obtain Luis Suarez for 700 coins !! Hes scored 3 hat tricks in 5 games and is unbelievably good at free kicks bargain, try and get a player who can multitask !!
